Utility costs keep growing. So do carbon emissions. The status quo is costing us money and the health of our planet. That’s why we’re leading the charge to create a new future for commercial, industrial & municipal energy production — transforming the very way organizations throughout the nation power their facilities. Pushing Solar’s Potential Forward
DSD was launched as a startup within General Electric (GE) in 2012. Empowered by that singular legacy of ingenuity, our visionary team set out to push Solar’s potential forward — by making it more accessible to forward-thinking commercial, industrial and municipal organizations. Today, with our unparalleled experience and deep bench of solar industry talent, DSD is the only true “one-stop shop” for large-scale, custom solar PV and energy storage solutions.
We do it all.
DSD handles absolutely everything — from design to engineering to the solution build-out, plus all the needed supporting management to see the project through. We provide financing, as well; and can offer ownership, operation and maintenance of all assets, to provide you a risk- and hassle-free experience.
Born of Ingenuity
At DSD, we’re thinking outside the box about the future of commercial, industrial and municipal energy. Because true, transformative change never comes from the status quo. It’s born of ingenuity.
A New Future for Clean Energy
To date, DSD’s 60+ person team has developed 125 projects with over 3GW of collective development experience. And, with our new financial partnerships, DSD can now eliminate the high-cost barrier to entry — providing consistent, high-quality, end-to-end solutions that make clean energy a “no brainer” for progressive businesses in consideration.
Vision Put into Practice
By combining the powers of DSD’s leading development and operating capability, BlackRock’s financial strength and investment expertise, and, of course, the innovation and legacy of GE, we’re leading the charge in creating a new future for clean commercial, industrial and municipal energy.
Capturing Your 26% Solar Tax Credit
The federal solar tax credit, officially known as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC), applies to all newly installed commercial solar and municipal solar systems. You can take advantage of a dollar-for-dollar credit worth up to 26% of total development costs. But the clock is ticking; to get the full benefit, you must act quickly.
The time is now.
The solar tax credit (ITC) is set at 26% in 2020 … but will reduce to 22% in 2021. In 2022 and beyond, the solar tax credit will shrink down to 10%. If your organization is seriously considering an energy transformation, now is the time to investigate. Talk to a DSD expert today to see what’s possible.
